Proprietor, Chris Hoggard hatched
the idea of the shop, after a career in racing, gaining a mass of experience of
horses in general.
Chris's wife, Wendy is a qualified Master Saddler and has a wealth of
experience, having been working behind the bench for 24 years, following a four
year apprenticeship. Wendy also has ridden as an amateur jockey on the flat and
is now successfully competing on her own horse in the eventing field.

At White Rose Saddlery, we
believe that we stock the widest selection of specialist racing equipment, from all over the world. We also export items and regularly supply
champion jockeys and trainers with their requirements.
White Rose Saddlery pride themselves on serving their customers with personal
attention and expert knowledge.
Our trade stand attends Thirsk racecourse during the flat season and a number of
point to points within Yorkshire. We also sponsor the
Yorkshire Ladies Point to Point Championship.
